My First Private Exhibition
30/11/09 -
06/12/09
I decided to take a step forward with my photography and book a gallery to show some of my work.
Joining forces with 3 local artists, Molly Pocknell, Brenda
Wilbourn and Vivienne McMahon, we provided a display of 80 photographs,
watercolour and pastel paintings. As well as having our pictures up for sale we also offered smaller items such
as postcards and calendars which proved to be very popular.
We booked The Stables at the Gin Trap Inn in Ringstead, Norfolk to stage the event as it offers
a pleasant environment in which to view the pictures and also allows visitors to enjoy a drink and/or meal at
the pub. To find out more about the pub itself click here: www.gintrapinn.co.uk

The exhibition took place over 7 days
from Monday 30th November through to Sunday 6th December
2009 and the doors were open from 10am until 4pm daily. There was a steady stream of visitors during the week and a
number of other local artists came to look at our work and chat about their experiences of exhibiting at this
venue. Below are some pictures taken inside the Stables. As you can see the place has lost none of its
original stables look and feel, despite being a popular gallery for well over 30 years now.
